PGA of Alberta Arizona Teaching Summit

Last weekend, Golf Canada Centre coach Jamie Reimer and myself were lucky to join 14 other PGA of Alberta professionals for the PGA of Alberta Teaching Summit.

Our first day was spent at the incredible TPC Scottsdale, host of the Waste Management Open on the PGA Tour. PGA Tour winner and renowned golf coach Gabriel Hjertstedt broke down various details of the short game, from highly technical components all the way to the simplest swing thoughts. I am very excited to practice these techniques, and help convey to my students, the information that pertains to their games specifically.
If that person doesn’t feel what you’re saying, what you’re saying doesn’t matter

Day two of the Summit led us to Talking Stick Resort, with Vision54 co-founders Lynn Marriott & Pia Nilsson. Vision54 focuses on organizing the mental and physical components of a golf shot/tournament. More specifically they:
“look at the reality of golf and what elements influence your performance. The elements are physical, technical, mental, emotional, social and spirit of the game. To make this come alive, we created the Human Skills golfers need to complement your technique.”

I know that Jamie Reimer, Strive for Excellence Coach at the Golf Canada Centre, has already been using techniques with his junior golfers. Book a lesson with him today by CLICKING HERE FOR THE HOLIDAY PRICING PACKAGE
