What better time to launch a website and blog than when your best student qualifies for his first PGA Tour event!

He will be competing alongside the world’s best golfers starting Thursday, July 23rd at the 3M Open in Blaine, MN, at the TPC Twin Cities Golf Course.

Aaron and I have worked together for over three years to achieve his goal of winning on the PGA Tour. When he first came to me, there was little adjustment to his swing technique. My first impression of him was that he was very keen on developing the correct mindset. You can imagine how excited and proud I was to hear that this past Monday qualified for a spot in his first PGA Tour event, with a round of  63.

We spend a lot of time working on his mental game around golf. We work to develop his emotional intelligence and address how his emotional responses affect not only his golf game, but also his life. We work together to build habits and patterns to positively monitor our own internal voice. Aaron is very good at identifying and categorizing his thoughts in order to decide which thoughts better serve him. He is happy to do the work mentally to achieve the focus needed to play at the highest level of competition.

It also helps that he’s an incredible putter and ball striker.

He is paired with Tyler McCumber and Dominic Bozzelli at 2:05pm.

Please join me in following and cheering on Aaron this week!
